Pickups

Chandler pickups are hand-wound by Adrian Chandler. Generally, our pickups are slightly hotter than vintage models, but custom winds and rewind service is available. All of the regular single-coil and humbucking models are available.

The Super 60 pickups are particularly interesting. By closely monitoring the variables that affect the tone the most, we have created a series of pickups that offer dynamics, power, and brightness without the hard attack and harsh treble often associated with "vintage style" pickups. Wax potted to inhibit microphonics, these pickups really sound good.

Our CC-90 pickups are oversized single coils and are featured on our lap steel guitars. These soapbars have the classic Charlie Christian trapezoid look, yet they fit in the footprint of a regular P-90 style pickup. With the magnets running through the coil, you get a bright punchy sound, and the wide coil adds warmth and harmonics.
